Jason Burton Sr.
President
Jason Burton is the President of JB Dirtworks Inc. located in San Diego, California. Jason began his career at a young age in 1986 working for Chilcote Incorporated in their heavy equipment repair facility working his way up to an Operator at the age of 18. From there, he went on to work in the family grading business where he gained experience in every role from Foreman to Estimator to heavy equipment Operator. Jason feels very fortunate that he has been able to work with the same quality people for many years, which gives him the confidence to successfully tackle any challenge they may face. Jason specializes in providing solutions for complicated situations derived from the many variables that can be present on complex projects, while avoiding heavy costs to the client. Jason’s dedication to his client’s success, his hard work, and integrity have earned him an excellent reputation. When he’s finally taking a break from work, Jason likes to have fun but enjoys it more when he can share it with his family and friends.
Jenni Burton
Office Manager & Accounting
Jenni Burton manages the daily Administration Operation as well as Project Admnistration for JB Dirtworks Inc. With over 23 years of experience, Jenni has a clear understanding of what makes the administrative side of a grading company run smoothly. Clients appreciate her friendly, professional demeanor, and that she is readily available to answer questions and help find solutions. Jenni prides herself on building and maintaining the business relationships that she has over the years. She is detail oriented, organized, and thrives on perfection. Jenni also enjoys spending time with her family and life long friends.
Nick Hogue
Vice President
Nick Hogue is the Vice President of JB Dirtworks, Inc. When Nick joined the industry back in 2005, he had no idea his role would grow into what it has today. Nick feels very fortunate to have been mentored by some of the best in the industry, which has given him the knowledge and skills to become a successful Grade Checker and Foreman. Nick’s experience has given him the ability to visualize the process for completing a project from beginning to end. He is a natural leader, able to give his team direction while focusing on the critical path. Nick appreciates being able to work in various locations throughout Southern California and enjoys seeing his projects complete. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his family while camping and riding in the dunes.
Jake Burton
Jake Burton, son of Jason Sr. and Jenni, is the 4th generation of a long line of earthwork contractors. Jake has taken on almost every responsibility this business has offered and as a young child, with the "jobsite setup" he had with his Tonka trucks, it was evident that he would follow in his dads footsteps. Jake's natural talent on heavy equipment has already earned him a reputation as a top notch operator. His vast knowledge and multi use personality has earned him respect not only as an operator but as a business savvy Burton, who will make his family proud when it is his turn to be the boss.
